Effective Date: May 29, 2025
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Sidelume platform (the “Service”), operated by Mokline, Inc., a federally incorporated company based in Ontario, Canada (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract to use Sidelume.
Sidelume connects two types of users: Requesters (users who submit design materials for feedback) and Pros (verified professionals who provide feedback). These Terms apply to both roles.
Requesters may only upload materials they own or have clear permission to share. All shared materials must be non-confidential unless authorized. Pros must not share, reproduce, or distribute submitted content without written permission from the owner. All feedback must be original and created solely by the assigned Pro.
Once a Pro accepts a request, feedback must be delivered within 48 hours to be eligible for payment. A 10% service fee is applied to each transaction. Pros must set up a Stripe account for payouts. Pros are independent contractors and are responsible for their own taxes.
Pros may be removed or banned from the platform at any time, with or without notice, for failure to meet deadlines, unprofessional behavior, or policy violations.
Users must not upload or request feedback on illegal, offensive, or infringing content. Misrepresentation and unauthorized file sharing are strictly prohibited.
While the platform is not designed for confidential content, users must treat all content with respect and discretion.
The Sidelume platform and its assets are the property of Mokline, Inc. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
Mokline, Inc. does not guarantee the usefulness of feedback and is not liable for any related damages.
Accounts may be suspended or terminated at any time, with or without cause or notice.
We may update these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via the platform or email.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and applicable federal laws of Canada.
